Owning your own house at just 18 years old might seem like a dream come true—offering independence and a space of your own before you're even old enough to drink in the US. However, in the case of *Your House*, this dream quickly turns into a nightmare. This seemingly cozy home harbors a dark and mysterious side that you'll soon uncover.

In this gripping text-based adventure, you step into the shoes of Debbie, a young woman who, on her 18th birthday, faces a series of misfortunes: expulsion from school, betrayal by her best friend, and being struck by a car. With everything falling apart, Debbie receives a mysterious key and a letter directing her to the titular house. Driven by curiosity and desperation, she decides to delve into the enigma surrounding this eerie abode.

As Debbie, you'll encounter over a dozen puzzles, each challenging your wit and problem-solving skills. The tension escalates with the presence of a mysterious figure watching from the sidewalk, adding an extra layer of urgency to your quest. Your ingenuity will be crucial to ensure Debbie's survival and unravel the house's secrets.

ytThe rental market can be murder

While I might be painting *Your House* as more sinister than it perhaps is, there's no denying the game's spooky undercurrent. As you navigate the escape room-style puzzles and explore the various nooks and crannies of your new home, you'll find plenty of visuals to enhance the text-based narrative, making it a compelling experience.

Be ready for some intense tapping, as reviewer Catherine pointed out in her critique. However, if you're willing to take your time and meticulously examine each screen, the slow-burn pace can be incredibly rewarding.

*Your House* is available now on iOS and is currently in pre-registration on Android. Keep an eye out for its release, or in the meantime, explore our list of the top 25 best puzzlers for iOS and Android to keep you entertained while you wait!
