While the game doesn't explicitly explain it, this essential tool dramatically boosts your traversal speed, acting as a powerful sprint mechanic. How To Summon A Hoverboard In Hyper Light Breaker

Summoning your Hoverboard is surprisingly simple. Just hold down your Dodge button. Your Breaker will dash forward and automatically mount the Hoverboard, ready to zip across the landscape as long as you maintain the Dodge input.

Controlling the Hoverboard is intuitive. The left analog stick controls direction; leaning into a turn will steer you, though turning is slower at higher speeds. To dismount, simply release the Dodge button. Alternatively, running out of Energy will automatically end your Hoverboard ride. Keep an eye on your Energy meter (displayed next to your Breaker's companion) to avoid unexpected dismounts. Give yourself a few seconds to recover Energy before resuming your Hoverboard journey.
