The previous record holder, Monster Hunter: World (2018), peaked at 334,000 concurrent players, with Monster Hunter Rise (2022) trailing at 230,000. Monster Hunter Wilds offers a self-contained narrative, making it perfect for newcomers. Players explore the mysterious Forbidden Lands, battling dangerous creatures and encountering the legendary "White Ghost," a mythical beast, and the enigmatic Guardians, who add layers of intrigue to the story.
