Where To Find Something Infested With Fleas in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

One side quest, "A Good Scrub," in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* opens the door to a series of bathhouse-related quests, one of which requires finding a flea-infested item. Here's how to locate it for Betty.

Pick Up ‘A Good Scrub’

Speak to the innkeeper in Kuttenberg about work; this leads you to Betty, the bathhouse owner (located southeast in Kuttenberg). Accept her offer to help find Matsek in Grund. Matsek is hesitant about being seen with the prospective bathhouse employees; find the three girls in the courtyard, tell them you're there for Betty, and escort them back to the city.

Promote the Bathhouse

After returning the girls, Betty needs your help promoting the bathhouse. Practice your sales pitch with her, then shout it out at the grain market, horse market, vintners’ street, and merchants’ street. Remember, this needs to be done during the day.

Clean Up and Finish ‘A Good Scrub’

Clean the bathhouse before the alderman's inspection. Failing to do this quickly enough will shut down the bathhouse, preventing you from progressing to the next quest, "Ill Repute."

Finding Fleas for ‘Ill Repute’

After a successful inspection, speak with Betty again about remaining issues. To influence the council's decision on the city's main bathhouse, you need to encourage the councillor to abandon the competing establishment. Talk to Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida to learn the councillor's dislikes.

Obtain chamomile brew to add to the wine cask on the competing bathhouse's second floor. Note that Lida requires a noblewoman's dress (obtainable from a tailor) before revealing the councillor's fondness for fragrant oils. Alternatively, you can steal the oils from a cabinet on the third floor using lockpicking.

Katcha mentions the bathhouse's past flea problem. To find the flea-infested item, head to Kuttenberg's east gate, where you'll find a beggar camp. Search their sacks for a flea-infested blanket.

Return to the competing bathhouse and discreetly place the fleas in Councillor Naaz's laundry basket and a clean laundry basket.

If you struggle to find the flea-infested item, completing any of the three tasks (the brew, the oils, or the fleas) will suffice to drive the councillor away. Once this is done, you can finish the quest and proceed to quests like "Axe from the Lake."
