In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, sometimes a subtle approach is better than all-out combat. This guide explains how to incapacitate enemies without killing them.
Knocking Out Enemies
Leaving a trail of corpses isn't always the best strategy. Knocking out enemies offers a stealthier alternative. Here's how:
- Crouch: Press the circle button to crouch and approach an NPC from behind.
- Knock Out Prompt: A "Knock Out" prompt will appear in the bottom right corner when you're close enough. Press the indicated button.
- Timing is Key: A blue icon with swords will appear. Press R2 to successfully knock out the NPC.
- Second Chance: If Henry fails, a shield icon will appear. Press L2 to restrain the NPC and attempt the knockout again. Failure on both attempts will likely lead to a fight.
Success depends on Henry's strength compared to the NPC's. These perks increase your chances:
- Tight Grip: Improves knockout success rate.
- Sandman: Further enhances knockout capabilities.
Stealth Kills
For a more lethal stealth approach, equip a dagger. The process is similar: sneak up from behind, and a stealth kill prompt will appear if a dagger is equipped.
