KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the popular RPG by Sesisoft, will be ending its service on January 30th, 2025, after nearly five years. Both the global and Japanese servers will shut down simultaneously. However, a limited offline version is reportedly in development, allowing players to revisit the main storyline, major quests, and events. Further details on this offline version are pending.
Regarding in-game purchases, the in-app store was disabled on October 31st, 2024. All official channels will close on February 28th, 2025. Players can still use existing Quartz and in-game items until the service ends. Refunds for unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 are available until January 30th, 2025.
Released in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days was the first mobile game based on the popular KonoSuba franchise. The game featured a charming story, appealing visuals, and an engaging visual novel-style story mode. Despite its positive aspects, the game ultimately succumbed to the challenges faced by many gacha RPGs, including maintaining player interest and managing high production costs. Many anime-based games have faced similar closures this year.
With only a few months remaining, now is your last chance to experience KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. Download it from the Google Play Store.
