The preview also highlights unique set features, such as the introduction of Summons, which are Magic's first-ever Saga creatures that players can summon for assistance during battles, exemplified by the Summon: Shiva card. Additionally, the set reintroduces double-faced cards, showcased through Cecil's dual nature as both a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin.
The Final Fantasy set is set to be a comprehensive offering, boasting over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 legendary borderless cards illustrated by beloved artists from the Final Fantasy series. This set will be fully draftable and Standard-legal, launching on June 13 alongside four preconstructed Commander decks. Each deck, themed around Final Fantasy games 6, 7, 10, and 14, will contain 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing ones adorned with fresh Final Fantasy art.
