Mark Your Calendars, Warzone Fans — Call of Duty Merch Shop Teases We're 'Dropping Back In' To Verdansk Next Week

Get ready, Call of Duty fans! The much-anticipated return of Verdansk to Warzone is almost here. March 10, 2025, marks the date, according to a countdown appearing in the Call of Duty shop (thanks to InsiderGaming). Activision initially teased Verdansk's comeback last August, promising a Spring 2025 release, but now we have a concrete date.

A pop-up showcasing "The Verdansk Collection" features a nostalgic image: a snowy alpine scene with a crashed plane, a dam, and pine trees—a classic Verdansk vista. This evokes fond memories for players who remember the map before its replacements, Verdansk '84 and Caldera. Currently, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile offers the only way to experience this beloved map. This announcement is particularly exciting given Activision's 2021 statement declaring original Verdansk's permanent removal.

Warzone, however, received less content than initially planned due to the team focusing on bug fixes, gameplay tuning, and quality-of-life improvements.
