Marvel Contest of Champions adds villains in August update

Clash Royale finally introduces a major upgrade for the Inferno Dragon. Following nearly a decade without evolutionary options, this fiery Legendary creature receives a powerful new transformation. The evolved Inferno Dragon boasts improved combat mechanics, maintaining its accumulating damage output even when switching targets—a significant upgrade from its original version.

New Season Ignites With Dragon Evolution

Dubbed "How To Evolve Your Dragon!", the latest season introduces the Inferno Dragon evolution while reviving the popular 2v2 League. Players can team with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.

Milestone Events beginning at Arena 7 offer rewards including three Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics.

The season kicks off with Crown Chase #1, awarding a decorative Battle Banner and Epic Book of Cards, followed by Crown Chase #2 offering another banner plus three Evolution Shards.

Throughout June and early July, developers have prepared multiple special game modes to showcase the evolution system. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9) and Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) offer unique Battle Banners and Emotes.

Later events include Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allowing four Evolution cards per deck, Magical Trio (June 16-23), 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30), and Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) that permits eight Evolution cards per deck.
