The possibility of Marvel Rivals gracing the Nintendo Switch 2, once deemed impossible, is now looking increasingly likely. While NetEase previously dismissed a release on the original Switch due to technical limitations, the upcoming console could alter the situation significantly.
At the DICE Summit, producer Weikang Wu confirmed ongoing discussions with Nintendo. The primary challenge remains ensuring optimal performance on the new hardware:
"The original Switch lacked the processing power for the gameplay experience we envisioned. However, if the Switch 2 proves capable, we're prepared to bring the game to the platform."

Following the official Nintendo Switch 2 announcement, major industry players are expressing strong interest in the platform. Phil Spencer has suggested Xbox's intent to bring its game library to the system, and Electronic Arts (EA) has also shown its support.
In other news, Marvel Rivals is set for further expansion, with the anticipated addition of two Fantastic Four members to enhance the gameplay in future updates.
