In the Marvel Rivals files, dataminers have found a fight with a kraken and a new mode

Leaker X0X_Leaks uncovered evidence within the Marvel Rivals game files suggesting an upcoming PvE mode featuring a kraken boss. While the kraken model boasts some animations, high-resolution textures are currently absent. The dataminer showcased a size-based approximation to illustrate its potential in-game appearance.

Marvel Rivals also announced a significant Spring Festival event commencing this Thursday. This event introduces a unique 3v3 game mode, "Clash of Dancing Lions," where teams compete to score a ball into the opposing goal. This mode bears a striking resemblance to Overwatch's Lucioball, and, by extension, Rocket League.

This similarity is noteworthy, considering Marvel Rivals' apparent attempt to establish its own identity distinct from Overwatch. While the Spring Festival event's core gameplay mirrors an earlier Overwatch event, Marvel Rivals incorporates a distinct Chinese cultural theme, differentiating it from Overwatch's Olympic Games-themed counterpart.
