Mask Around II: A Sequel to the Enigmatic Roguelike

Author : Nora Update:Dec 11,2024

Mask Around, the highly anticipated sequel to 2020's quirky roguelike platformer, Mask Up, is now available. This time, players experience a blend of run-and-gun action and brawling combat. The signature yellow ooze returns, infused with intriguing new gameplay elements.

For those unfamiliar, Mask Up saw players evolve from a puddle of goo into a powerful, gooey hero. Mask Around builds upon this foundation, seamlessly integrating 2D shooting mechanics into the original brawler style. Players can swiftly switch between ranged attacks and close-quarters combat, utilizing their goo abilities strategically.

Resource management remains crucial, as the yellow ooze is still a limited resource, particularly vital during challenging boss encounters.

yt A Face for Every Occasion

Currently available on Google Play, Mask Around represents a significant evolution of its predecessor. While maintaining the core gameplay loop, the sequel introduces substantial improvements, including refined graphics and deeper strategic layers. The addition of weapons adds a new dimension to combat, demanding players carefully manage their ooze reserves and weapon usage.

Beyond simply maintaining the goo meter, players must now strategically choose when to utilize their abilities, offering a more nuanced and engaging experience.

Mask Around is available now on Google Play. An iOS release is yet to be announced. After experiencing this enhanced gameplay, be sure to check out our latest list of top mobile games for even more exciting titles!
