Mecha BREAK, the thrilling multiplayer mech game, recently wrapped up its open beta on Steam, ending on March 16. The game saw an impressive peak of over 300,000 players and has now secured its position as the 5th most wishlisted game on the platform. The developers at Amazing Seasun are taking this opportunity to reflect on the valuable feedback received during the beta phase.
One of the standout pieces of feedback centers around the initial availability of Break Strikers, or mechs. Currently, at the game's start, players have access to only one Break Striker, with the rest needing to be unlocked through in-game currency earned by playing multiple multiplayer matches. This process can be quite time-consuming, as it may take players a considerable amount of time to unlock all 12 Break Strikers.
In response to player feedback, Amazing Seasun is seriously considering making all mechs available from the start of the game. This potential change would eliminate the need for players to grind for in-game currency and would allow them immediate access to the full roster of Break Strikers. This move could enhance the player experience, especially in the competitive 3v3 and 6v6 modes where mech modules play a crucial role.
While the developers are open to these changes, they have not made any final commitments. They believe that maintaining a live service model at launch is crucial for the long-term success and evolution of Mecha BREAK. As they continue to refine the game, they remain focused on creating an engaging and rewarding experience for all players.
