HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, is making waves with its upcoming game, originally known as Astaweave Haven. This title, even before its official unveiling, is undergoing significant changes, including a name shift. The game, now called Petit Planet, promises a departure from HoYoVerse's typical open-world gacha RPGs.
If you're a fan of gacha or RPGs, you might have heard of Astaweave Haven. While official details remain scarce, the game's potential as a life-sim or management game, reminiscent of Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley, is exciting. This brings us to the intriguing name change: Petit Planet.
The new name, Petit Planet, is a refreshing change. It conveys a charming and approachable image, hinting at the management sim gameplay style rather than a typical MiHoYo gacha RPG.
Release Date Uncertainty
Development is ongoing, with no official release date. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile platforms in July. HoYoVerse registered Petit Planet on October 31st, and the new name is currently awaiting US and UK approval.
Given MiHoYo's track record of rapid releases (Zenless Zone Zero following Honkai: Star Rail), approval of the new name could quickly lead to a reveal of Petit Planet's gameplay.
