Monster Hunter Now Season 7 Adds Exploration Bases

Author : Nathan Update:Nov 11,2025

  • Monster Hunter Now's seventh season arrives on September 18th
  • It introduces a wide array of new features and adjustments
  • The highlight is the official launch of exploration bases

Monster Hunter Now excels at adapting the popular creature-hunting experience for mobile. Whether you're crafting diverse weapons from materials gathered from your favorite (or most challenging) monsters or engaging in battles against these formidable beasts. Now, the crucial social element is being enhanced with the introduction of Exploration Bases in season 7!

What exactly is an exploration base? If you've played Niantic's other creature-collecting game, Pokémon Go, you'll find them similar to Pokéstops. Like Pokéstops, players in the same vicinity can collaborate to gradually improve Exploration Bases.

This process becomes even more streamlined with the addition of selectable monster groups, allowing you to customize which monsters appear in the wild. Complete details about this new feature will be available when season 7 launches on September 18th.

Following up on their summer update is a challenging task for the Niantic team behind Monster Hunter Now. However, season seven is clearly shaping up to be something remarkable. And to answer your question—yes, new monsters are joining the fray, including Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron!

Additionally, Riftborne Deviljho will appear alongside new skills such as pursuit, ballistics, reckless, guard up, vital fire, and vital ice. These come alongside updates to style customization, reduced material requirements for weapons, and numerous other improvements. When September 18th arrives, it's definitely worth diving back in to explore everything Monster Hunter Now has in store.
