Nexon Announces the EOS of Dynasty Warriors M Just a Year After Its Launch

Nexon bids farewell to Dynasty Warriors M, the mobile adaptation of the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. The game's end of service (EOS) is slated for February 20th, 2025, marking the end of epic battles and strategic conquests within the Three Kingdoms.

In-app purchases were halted on December 19th, 2024, preceding the official shutdown announcement. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the community, the reasons behind the game's closure remain unstated. The relatively short lifespan of the game, launched in November 2023, suggests underperformance may have played a role.

Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of action-packed Musou gameplay and strategic elements. Players could collect and develop 50 officers from five factions, engaging in battles across a vast map encompassing 13 regions and 500 stages. The game also featured a story mode incorporating significant historical events.
