Norman Reedus Open to Playing Himself in Death Stranding 2 Movie

Attention all Death Stranding enthusiasts! Brace yourselves for an epic sequel, as Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is slated to hit the shelves in June. The star of the franchise, actor Norman Reedus, recently spilled some intriguing details about the game and teased a glimpse into the future film adaptation during an exclusive interview with IGN.

When asked about the possibility of reprising his role in the upcoming film version of the game, which is being developed by Michael Sarnoski and A24, Reedus expressed enthusiasm, stating, "If it was an option, yeah, for sure. I don’t know what’s happening with it. It’s so pre pre pre right now. But yeah, of course."

During the interview, Reedus also touched on his experience with the original game and his anticipation for the sequel. He admitted to being initially confused but expressed a deep trust in the game's creator, Hideo Kojima. "As far as working with him and understanding where his head’s at, I don’t think anybody can understand where his head’s at," Reedus remarked. "He’s just that guy, he’s out there and he’s got great ideas. But story-wise, I did know what was happening more. There’s more action in it, there’s more of a definite goal to get to."

Despite the complexity of the Death Stranding universe, Reedus remains enthusiastic and committed. "It’s always a trip working on those things," he shared with IGN. "It’s great, but it’s wild."
