Orna, The GPS MMORPG, Is Dropping Terra's Legacy To Raise Environmental Awareness

Have you explored Orna, the captivating fantasy RPG and GPS MMO from Northern Forge Studios? Get ready for Terra's Legacy, a unique in-game event connecting the virtual world with real-world environmental action.

From September 9th to 19th, Terra's Legacy challenges you to combat pollution-themed enemies and actively restore polluted real-world locations by planting trees and cultivating Gaia apples.

Lend a Hand in Reducing Pollution

Terra's Legacy seamlessly blends Orna gameplay with real-world environmental responsibility. During the event, your Orna adventures will lead you to discover polluted or littered areas in your surroundings.

Report these locations through the game, and Northern Forge will transform them into in-game "Gloomsites," virtual representations of real-world environmental challenges. At these Gloomsites, you'll battle the Murk, formidable waste-themed enemies symbolizing pollution. Defeating the Murk directly contributes to raising awareness about environmental pollution.

Following your victories, you can plant trees and cultivate Gaia apples in these same polluted areas. These Gaia apples serve as both character customization items and magical ability boosts. Other players can also harvest these apples, fostering collaboration and shared rewards. The more players participate, the cleaner both the in-game world and our planet become.

Orna's Terra's Legacy is part of the Green Game Jam 2024, an annual event uniting game developers worldwide to create environmentally conscious in-game experiences.
