Pokemon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, launching January 15th, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai!
This exciting event brings the Gen 9 Pokemon Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, to Pokemon GO for the first time. Shroodle will hatch from 12km eggs, evolving into Grafaiai with 50 Shroodle Candy. The event runs from January 15th, 12:00 AM to January 19th, 8:00 PM local time.
Beyond the new Pokemon, expect increased Team GO Rocket activity at PokeStops and in balloons. A Charged TM will help Shadow Pokemon forget Frustration. Snapshot enthusiasts might encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk!
Event Highlights:
- New Pokemon: Shroodle (12km Eggs), Grafaiai (Evolution)
- Surprise Encounter: Croagunk (Fashion Week outfit)
- Team GO Rocket: Increased appearances
- Shadow Pokemon: Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby will appear.
- Shadow Raids: One-star raids feature Shadow Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Totodile, and Ralts. Three-star raids include Shadow Electabuzz, Magmar, and Wobbuffet. Remote Raid Passes are enabled.
- Special Research: A new Special Research task focuses on rescuing Shadow Palkia.
- Field Research: Offers Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs.
- In-Game Shop: A 300-coin bundle containing an Incubator, Rocket Radar, and Premium Battle Pass.
The event also includes Collection Challenges and themed Showcases. Prepare for a busy few days in the world of Pokemon GO! Further events on the horizon include the Corviknight line debuting January 21st, a Shadow Raid Day, and a Classic Community Day featuring Ralts on January 25th.
