PlayStation Plus Summer 2025 Adds Resident Evil, More Games

PlayStation Plus members are in for a treat this summer with an exciting lineup of fresh releases and nostalgic classics hitting the Extra and Premium catalogs. Titles span beloved franchises like Resident Evil and Twisted Metal alongside innovative new experiences.

Sony unveiled its latest PS4 and PS5 additions during June's State of Play showcase, confirming staggered releases throughout the warmer months. Several titles will even debut day-one on the subscription service.

The Standout Title

Sword of the Sea emerges as the summer's crown jewel - Giant Squid's mesmerizing oceanic adventure where players carve through vibrant landscapes on what feels like a magical surfboard. The Abzu developers promise their signature blend of fluid movement and breathtaking environments when this title launches exclusively for Extra and Premium subscribers on August 19.

Remedy Entertainment expands its Control universe with FBC: Firebreak, dropping into the Game Catalog on June 17. While these premium titles offer fresh adventures, Classics Catalog additions satisfy longtime fans with:
