Personalized 3D audio allows users to tailor audio settings to their hearing via sound tests using compatible devices like the Pulse Elite headset or Pulse Explore earbuds. This promises a more immersive gaming experience with improved sound localization.

Remote Play settings now offer enhanced control over who can access your PS5 remotely, ideal for households with multiple users. Access can be managed via [Settings] > [System] > [Remote Play] > [Enable Remote Play].

Adaptive charging for controllers on the new slim PS5 model optimizes power consumption by adjusting charging based on battery level while the console is in rest mode. Enable this via [Settings] > [System] > [Power Saving] > [Features Available in Rest Mode] > [Supply Power to USB Ports] > [Adaptive].

Beta Availability and Global Rollout

Currently, the beta is limited to invited participants in select regions (U.S., Canada, Japan, U.K., Germany, and France). Invited users will receive an email with download instructions. Note that features may change or be removed before the full release based on user feedback.
