A Sneaky PS5 Pro Reveal?
A blog post commemorating PlayStation's three decades featured an illustration seemingly depicting a new PS5 design. This design bears a striking resemblance to previously leaked images purportedly showing the PS5 Pro. The image, spotted by a sharp-eyed gamer in the background of the anniversary logo, has ignited a firestorm of speculation.
The discovery fuels rumors of an imminent PS5 Pro unveiling, possibly later this month. While Sony hasn't officially announced a State of Play event, the possibility of a simultaneous reveal with a major event is strong.
Meanwhile, PlayStation's 30th Anniversary Festivities Continue
While the PS5 Pro whispers swirl, Sony is celebrating its milestone anniversary with a variety of events. These include a free Gran Turismo 7 trial, digital soundtracks from beloved PlayStation classics, and the "Shapes of Play" collection launching in December 2024 via direct.playstation.com in select regions (US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Benelux).
A free online multiplayer weekend (September 21st and 22nd) and esports tournaments are also on the agenda, offering PlayStation Plus-free online multiplayer access for PS5 and PS4 owners. Further details are promised in the coming days.
