Unlocking the Pet System
To dive into the world of pets, players must first reach base level 60. Once this milestone is achieved, a set of introductory quests will become available, walking players through the steps to acquire a slingshot, load it, and unlock the Pet Encyclopedia. Completing these quests marks the beginning of your pet collection and management journey.
How to Capture Pets?
Capturing pets in ROX is both straightforward and strategic. Pets are categorized into different rarities, influencing their appearance upon capture. The rarity of the pet you obtain is determined by chance, with the following probabilities:
- S Tier (Very Rare): 1% chance
- A Tier (Rare): 10% chance
- B Tier (Normal): 89% chance
What is Pet Quality Transfer?
ROX offers a unique feature known as Pet Quality Transfer, allowing players to upgrade the quality of a pet by transferring the quality of a higher-tier pet of the same species to it. This process maintains the level and experience of the recipient pet. To perform a transfer, you need two identical pets (same species) where one has a higher quality. A fee of 5,000 Zeny is required for this service, ensuring players can enhance their pets without losing progress.
Pet Awakening Skills
Pets in ROX can unlock up to four awakening skill slots, significantly boosting their combat effectiveness. These slots are unlocked using skill sheets, which are only available from the Pet Book Vending Machine through the Gacha system. The number of available slots depends on the pet's quality tier and star rank, making it crucial to strategize your pet's development path.
Pet Stamina Explained
Each pet in ROX comes with a stamina system, totaling 720 stamina points, which allows for 120 minutes of active deployment. Stamina is a critical resource for pet functionality, and unfortunately, it does not permit continuous use throughout the day. Stamina depletes at a rate of one point every 10 seconds when the pet is active, so managing your pet's stamina wisely is key to maximizing their utility in battles.
