Only a handful of fishing rods in Fisch are freely obtainable through quests. The Tides of Gold update introduced a new free rod, but acquiring it requires significant time and in-game currency investment due to the rarity of the necessary mutated items. This guide details how to obtain the Rod of the Exalted One.

Locating The Keeper's Secret

The first step to acquiring the Rod of the Exalted One is discovering The Keeper's Secret. This hidden location resides on one of the game's main islands. Access is free. To reach it, navigate to Mushgrove Swamp.

On this island, locate a camouflaged wall within the rocks. This can be challenging. Proceed directly inland from the Shipwright NPC. Upon encountering tall rocks, turn left; you'll find a darker-colored, visually distinct false wall. Pass through carefully; the cave beyond is small, containing only an elevator and a perilous drop shaft. Avoid falling into the shaft by carefully using the elevator to reach The Keeper's Secret, where seven color-coded pedestals await.

Solving The Keeper's Secret Puzzle

Seven uniquely mutated Enchant Relics must be placed on the pedestals:

• Translucent Relic
• Atlantean Relic
• Crystalized Relic
• Hexed Relic
• Mosaic Relic
• Fossilized Relic

The most efficient method involves purchasing Relics from the Merlin NPC and appraising them during Mutation Surge events. This, however, requires considerable in-game spending.
