Speculation Centers on "Anti-Woke" Sentiment

The motivations behind this coordinated review bombing remain unclear, but online discussions suggest a possible link to "anti-woke" sentiments. The resulting misinformation prompted Wikipedia administrators to temporarily lock the page, preventing further unauthorized edits. The page has since been corrected.

Despite this incident, Silent Hill 2 Remake, developed by Bloober Team, has received generally favorable critical reception. For example, Game8 awarded the game a 92/100 rating, praising its emotional impact on players. The full release is scheduled for October 8th.
