The Sims will celebrate its 25th anniversary with lots of free items

Electronic Arts hosted a special livestream to commemorate The Sims franchise's 25th anniversary, unveiling exciting gifts and events planned for The Sims 4 players.

The festivities have already begun with a new update addressing various bugs, boasting a redesigned main menu, and enhanced optimization. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated houses are available immediately when starting a new game, or accessible via the library for existing saves.

The Sims will celebrate its 25th anniversary with lots of free items

The main celebration starts February 4th with an update delivering over 70 free in-game items! A new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," will also launch on the same day, offering retro-style items and a collectible set through simple missions.

Furthermore, a new season, "Motherlode," begins in The Sims 4 on February 6th. Details about this season's content are yet to be revealed, adding an element of exciting anticipation.
