Sleepy Stork has now landed on Android devices, brought to you by indie developer Tim Kretz under his studio Moonstripes. Known for previous hits like Window Wiggle, Butterfly Surprise, Dots and Bubbles, and Human Flag, Moonstripes continues its tradition of fun, engaging gameplay with this latest release.
Dream with the Sleepy Stork
In Sleepy Stork, you take control of a stork who has a unique problem—it falls asleep mid-flight during its migration south. Your goal? To guide this floppy, unconscious bird safely to its bed through more than 100 levels, each featuring new physics-based challenges. You'll need to tap, drop, and manipulate various elements to ensure the bird gently bounces or slides to a soft landing.
As you progress, especially beyond the first dozen levels, Sleepy Stork introduces increasingly complex obstacles in the form of tiles of varying shapes and sizes. What truly distinguishes Sleepy Stork from other puzzle games is its innovative dream theme. Each time the stork reaches its bed, it enters a dream state, with each level offering a unique dream and its interpretation.
For example, did you know that dreaming of a lion signifies challenges and conflicts awaiting you upon waking? Or that a dream involving a toilet suggests you should release negative emotions? These quirky dream facts add an extra layer of intrigue to the game.
It’s a comedy, in a good way
Sleepy Stork also embraces the comedic side of its physics-based gameplay. Watching the stork lie motionless while the environment tosses it around like a ragdoll is genuinely amusing. It's hilarious to see this large bird being flung across the screen by a bouncing platform, adding a light-hearted touch to the game.
Enjoy a good chuckle at the stork's comical flailing while absorbing interesting tidbits about dream symbolism. Sleepy Stork is available now on the Google Play Store and is free to play. Don’t miss out on this unique blend of physics-based puzzles and dream interpretations!
