GSC Game World's highly anticipated open-world FPS, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, faces another delay. Originally scheduled for September 5th, 2024, the launch is now set for November 20th, 2024. This shift prioritizes quality assurance and bug fixing.
Game Director Yevhen Grygorovych explained the delay: "We understand the wait is frustrating, and we appreciate your patience. These extra two months allow us to address unforeseen issues (or bugs, as you might say)."
Grygorovych expressed gratitude for community support, stating, "Your continued support means the world to us. We're just as eager as you are to release the game and share it with you."

GSC Game World, in partnership with Xbox, will host a Developer Deep Dive on August 12th, 2024. This event will feature exclusive content, including interviews, behind-the-scenes looks, new gameplay, and a complete walkthrough of a story mission.
