"Stalker 2: Guide to Completing Joke Quest in Rookie Village"

Author : Sadie Update:Apr 19,2025

In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, your journey through the Rookie Village in the Cordon region can lead to a unique and heartwarming encounter with an NPC named Lyonchyk Sprat. This particular interaction stands out as it involves a light-hearted quest where Lyonchyk asks for your help in delivering a joke to a group of fellow stalkers, hoping to earn their friendship and join their circle. It's a quest you might overlook if you're solely focused on the main missions, but it's well worth engaging in for the unique experience it offers.

How to Complete the Joke Quest from Lyonchyk Sprat in the Rookie Village

To initiate the quest, make your way to the center of the Rookie Village. Here, Lyonchyk Sprat will call out to Skif, attempting to share a joke but failing to land the punchline. This leads to his request for assistance in delivering a joke to a group of stalkers gathered around a bonfire, aiming to break the ice and befriend them. Agreeing to help Lyonchyk will kickstart the quest.

Help Lyonchyk Sprat Tell a Joke

After accepting the quest, Lyonchyk will instruct Skif to ascend to the attic of a nearby house, which you can reach via a ladder right next to the bonfire. Once you're perched in the attic, wait for Lyonchyk's signal to proceed. At this point, you'll be presented with several joke options to choose from. Each choice will elicit a different reaction from the audience, but rest assured, selecting any option will lead to Lyonchyk successfully delivering the joke, thus marking the quest as completed.

Receiving Reward from Lyonchyk

Upon completing the interaction, descend from the attic and find Lyonchyk waiting at his initial spot. He'll express his gratitude for your assistance in gaining acceptance among the stalkers and reward you with 900 coupons. However, if you choose not to intervene and let Lyonchyk attempt the joke on his own, the quest will fail. In this scenario, Lyonchyk will flee from the bonfire group, ending up crying beside a house and blaming Skif for abandoning him.
