Saber Interactive has reaffirmed its commitment to all previously announced projects, despite the lack of updates on high-profile titles like the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) remake. Following the recent announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber's Chief Creative Officer, Tim Willits, took to Twitter to reassure fans that every game the studio has announced remains in development.
"Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world," Willits stated. "We are working on numerous games across many different genres. Everything that we have talked about is still in development. We will share information on upcoming games when we have something cool to share."

The most talked-about project in Willits' statement is undoubtedly the KOTOR remake, which has been shrouded in mystery since its announcement in 2021. This much-anticipated game has undergone multiple developer changes, faced apparent development halts, and restarts, yet after four years, it has yet to see the light of day.
In April 2024, Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch confirmed that the KOTOR project was retained by the company during its split from Embracer Group, emphasizing that it was still in active development. "It's clear and it's obvious that we're working on this," he said at the time. "It's been in the press numerous times. What I will say is that the game is alive and well, and we're dedicated to making sure we exceed consumer expectations."
Willits' recent statement, nearly 12 months after Karch's comments, reaffirms this dedication. However, fans are still left without any new footage or details beyond the initial announcement video.
In addition to the KOTOR remake, Saber Interactive has a robust lineup of other projects in development. Titles such as John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival are slated for release in 2025, though specific dates have not been announced. The studio is also working on a new Turok game and an untitled Avatar: The Last Airbender project.
With the recent addition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 to their portfolio, Saber Interactive continues to expand its offerings. For more insights on what to expect from Space Marine 3, including potential chapters and enemy factions, be sure to check out IGN's detailed article on the subject.
