"Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 Release Date Announced with Spin-Off Series Debut"

At Star Wars Celebration, fans were thrilled to learn that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is slated for release on October 29, 2025. This exciting news came with an additional reveal: a new spin-off series is in development, set to debut alongside the continuation of The Ninth Jedi story that originated in Volume 1.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will showcase nine captivating short films, each brought to life by different acclaimed Japanese anime studios. The lineup includes Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (renowned for Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. This diverse collection promises to enrich the Star Wars universe with fresh and innovative storytelling.

Moreover, it was confirmed that three episodes in Volume 3 will continue narratives from earlier volumes. These include Kamikaze Douga's The Duel, Kinema citrus Co.'s The Village Bride, and Production I.G.'s The Ninth Jedi.

Kenji Kamiyama, the writer and director behind The Ninth Jedi, made an appearance at Star Wars Celebration to discuss the upcoming spin-off series. This new project will expand on Kara's journey, allowing for more detailed and expansive stories within the broader Star Wars: Visions universe.

While specifics are still under wraps, it's confirmed that Kara will feature alongside Juro in the 'Child of Hope' episode of Volume 3, furthering her storyline.
