Based on Andrzej Sapkowski's short story "A Little Sacrifice," "Sirens of the Deep" unfolds between episodes 5 and 6 of Season 1 of the Netflix series. The official synopsis: Geralt investigates attacks in a coastal village, uncovering an ancient conflict between humans and sea people that threatens war. With the help of allies, he must resolve the mystery before the situation escalates.

The Witcher franchise originated with Sapkowski's book series, chronicling Geralt's adventures in a world inspired by Slavic mythology. CD Projekt Red's video game adaptations, particularly "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," achieved critical acclaim, leading to numerous spin-offs and collaborations (including the popular Gwent card game).
