Indus, the Indian-made battle royale game, is heating up with the addition of a thrilling new 4v4 deathmatch mode. This exciting update comes on the heels of another impressive milestone: Indus has surpassed 11 million pre-registrations! Closed beta players can also enjoy an enhanced audio experience, thanks to a recent overhaul of sound effects and music.

Designed specifically for Indian gamers, Indus offers a familiar battle royale experience infused with unique features. One standout is the Grudge system, which rewards players for engaging in intense rivalries. Initially announced in 2022, Indus has undergone several beta phases, steadily expanding its features and attracting a growing player base. This consistent growth is particularly noteworthy given India's booming mobile gaming market.

By and for the Indian gaming audience

While surpassing 11 million pre-registrations is a significant achievement, the growth rate has somewhat slowed compared to previous milestones. The game reached 10 million pre-registrations in March, indicating a more gradual increase in recent months.

We eagerly anticipate Indus's full release. While the addition of new features is always welcome, the speculated late 2023 launch date has passed. Here's hoping 2024 brings a full release or at least a public beta.
