Surprise, Balatro's on Xbox Game Pass Now

The ID@Xbox showcase delivered a surprise appearance by the mischievous Jimbo, bringing exciting news: Balatro is now available on Xbox Game Pass! This launch coincides with a new "Friends of Jimbo" update, adding a fresh batch of face card customizations.

The showcase trailer revealed several new additions to the face card roster, including characters and imagery from popular titles such as Bugsnax, Civilization, Assassin's Creed, Slay the Spire, Friday the 13th, and Fallout.

PlayThis marks the fourth "Friends of Jimbo" update, following previous additions featuring The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, Among Us, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Vampire Survivors, Stardew Valley, and others. These updates have historically been cosmetic only; players shouldn't anticipate significant gameplay alterations.

But the immediate availability of Balatro on Xbox Game Pass is the real headline. Previously available for purchase, this makes indulging in Balatro's addictive card-based gameplay even more accessible. Jimbo would undoubtedly approve.
