Clash Royale has finally unleashed the anticipated Inferno Dragon evolution after nearly a decade. The fiery Legendary troop receives a major power boost in this update. Supercell collaborated with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a creative reveal campaign.

The evolved Inferno Dragon maintains its damage ramp when switching targets - a game-changing improvement over the original version that reset damage accumulation.

How to Evolve Your Dragon! Season Launches

The new season introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution alongside the returning 2v2 League. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.

Milestone Events starting from Arena 7 offer rewards including Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics.

Crown Chase events deliver Battle Banners with frames/decorations plus Epic Books of Cards in separate reward tracks.

Developers are running themed events from June through July to showcase the new Evolution cards. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) which awards a Battle Banner and exclusive Emote.

Other events include Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16, allowing 4 Evolution cards per deck), Magical Trio (June 16-23), 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30), and Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7 with up to 8 Evolution cards per deck).
