Ubisoft Fixes AC Origins, Valhalla Windows 11 Issues

We're back with another update on Ubisoft's ongoing situation. While upper management navigates recent challenges, there's some positive news: a persistent problem has finally been resolved.

Ubisoft has addressed compatibility issues between several Assassin's Creed titles and the Windows 11 24H2 update. Since Fall 2024, Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and other Ubisoft games experienced malfunctions on the new OS. The solution arrived via newly released patches, announced on the Steam pages for Origins and Valhalla.

Player comments express relief and gratitude for the fix, acknowledging that this issue stemmed from Windows, not Ubisoft's game development. While many are thankful, the overall Steam reviews for both games remain "Mixed."

There's optimism that Assassin's Creed Shadows, recently delayed until March 20th to allow for quality improvements, will avoid similar problems. The game's launch is considered crucial for Ubisoft's future.
