Following the March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, you can finally reach the Fire Seal after clearing the previous altars. To unlock this seal, you'll need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here’s a detailed guide on how to obtain each of these offerings and unlock the Fire Seal.
Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria
The Faceted Rock Gem is an artifact you can find within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure your game is updated to the latest version, then navigate through the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some diligent searching.
Like other artifacts, you can unearth this item from designated spots on the ground using either a pickaxe or shovel. Keep in mind that the Faceted Rock Gem is a rare find, so be prepared to spend some time exploring and digging through these floors to secure it.
Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria
Rockroot is a common forageable item found between Floors 50-59 of the mines. If you're a regular miner, you might already have this item in your inventory. If not, keep an eye out for a dark, root-like plant, as shown above. You only need one Rockroot to fulfill the requirement at the Priestess’ altar.
Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria
Emerald is perhaps the easiest item to obtain among the offerings needed for the Fire Seal. You can find Emerald geodes scattered throughout Floors 50-59 in the mines. These are quite common, so you should be able to gather what you need quickly, especially if you've already stored some.
Aside from mining, you can also acquire Emeralds by breaking large boulders around Mistria. They're available at Balor’s Wagon for a modest price of 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the new Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, you have the option to craft Emeralds yourself, saving you time on the search.
How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria
The final item required to break the Fire Seal is the Sealing Scroll, which is linked to a quest that starts after meeting Juniper and discovering the seal. To proceed, you'll need to enlist Balor's help to acquire the scroll, but it won't come free.
To obtain the Sealing Scroll, you must provide:
- x10 Silver Ingots
- x10 Rubies
- x10 Sapphires
- x10 Emeralds
If you haven't collected these yet, they can all be found in the mines. Once you have the necessary items, deposit them in the bin next to Balor’s Wagon to receive your scroll.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and additional content during the game's Early Access phase.
NOTE: Fields of Mistria is currently in Early Access, and its content may change. The information provided here is accurate as of Version 0.13.0 and will be updated as needed if changes occur.
Fields of Mistria is available to play now in Steam Early Access.
