Warcraft Reveals Warbands Campsites Expansion

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces customizable character selection screens with collectible campsites! Four new campsites are available at launch, with more planned for future updates.

Key Features:

• New Campsite Backgrounds: Four unique campsites offer visually distinct character selection screen backgrounds.
• Unlocking Campsites: Each campsite has specific unlock requirements, ranging from simple logins to completing challenging meta-achievements.
• Collections Management: A dedicated Collections pane allows players to preview and track their campsite unlocks.
• Character Selection Customization: Easily switch between campsites directly on the character selection screen, or even randomize your selection.

The Ohn’ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked upon logging in after Patch 11.1. The remaining campsites require completing specific in-game achievements. All campsites can be previewed and managed within the Collections tab.

This new feature builds upon the Warbands system introduced in World of Warcraft: The War Within, indicating Blizzard's commitment to ongoing character selection screen personalization. Future updates are expected to introduce additional campsites through various avenues, including new content, existing zones, seasonal events, the Trading Post, and potentially even the in-game shop.
