LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is poised to launch later this month, bringing a cosmic transformation to the game that touches everything from the menus to the battlefield. Players will embark on a thrilling journey through the Dual Nova galaxy, navigating the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.
Three exciting new champions are set to join the roster, each bringing unique and game-altering abilities to the fray. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes massive area-of-effect damage and can teleport teammates across the map with his Realm Warp ability. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives in chaos, using Paranoia to plunge enemies into total darkness. Lastly, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time itself, slowing down foes and even reviving allies with his Chronoshift ultimate.
Several champions are also receiving significant reworks. Garen’s Courage now scales over time, enhancing his tankiness, while his Judgment ability will shred through enemy armor more effectively. Ambessa transitions from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage output and life steal capabilities. Smaller tweaks are also in store for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.
Beyond champion updates, a new Bandle-inspired Rift will spice up non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that appear through portals during the laning phase. Mages are in for a treat with long-awaited item updates. The new Bandle Fantasy item adds extra burst damage, while Hextech GLP800 slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance amplifies ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.
Ranked mode is also receiving an overhaul. With the launch of the Challenger’s Star, a new season begins, bringing enhancements to the Ranked store and a streamlined approach to earning seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star will unlock, introducing AAAARAM, a fresh twist on ARAM with added augments and stunning galactic visuals. Additionally, the Wild Pass will feature two captivating skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus, with Twisted Fate’s appearance introducing an entirely new skinline.
LoL: Wild Rift’s version 6.1 patch is scheduled to release on April 16th. For more details, be sure to visit the official website.
