World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Introduces Subtle Height-Adjustment Potions
World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, Undermined, brings exciting additions, including new story elements for The War Within and visual updates for various classes. However, a significant highlight for character customization is the introduction of two new consumable potions: Noggenfogger Select UP and Noggenfogger Select DOWN.
These potions allow players to subtly adjust their character's height, either increasing or decreasing it. The effect stacks up to ten times, lasting for 30 minutes and persisting through death. This temporary height alteration provides a fun way to customize character appearance for roleplaying, screenshots, or even during dungeons and raids.
These potions are available from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks, the central Steemwheedle reputation hub in the new Undermine zone. Priced at just over three gold each, they are unbound and not level-locked, making them easily tradable between characters.
Subtle Height Changes:
Unlike items like the Elixir of Giant Growth, the Noggenfogger Select potions offer much more subtle height adjustments. Even at maximum stacks (10), the height change is only a few inches, a far cry from the dramatic size alterations of other consumables. This makes them ideal for players seeking minor height modifications for a more personalized look.
Goblin-Exclusive Emote:
Alchemist Pestlezugg also offers Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a Goblin-only potion enabling the stylish "lean" emote, previously exclusive to NPCs. While similar emotes exist in the game files for other races, this potion currently grants Goblins sole access to this animation.
A Temporary Solution:
While many players eagerly anticipate a permanent height slider, the Noggenfogger Select potions offer a welcome, albeit temporary, solution for height customization. Until a major character customization overhaul is implemented, players can utilize these potions alongside other existing methods like the Seabed Leviathan’s Citrine in Cyrce’s Circlets or by playing Colossus Warriors.
