WoW Patch 11.1 Auto-Converts Leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens
Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert any remaining Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch's release.
The World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any surplus tokens could already be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events. Blizzard confirmed no future use for Bronze Celebration Tokens.
This automatic conversion ensures players don't retain useless currency. While a release date for Patch 11.1 remains unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, given the timing of other in-game events. This means the conversion will likely occur after the current Turbulent Timeways event concludes.
Timewarped Badges can be spent on various Timewalking event rewards, none of which are being removed. Players can therefore save their converted Badges for future events. Players are advised to log in after Patch 11.1's release to claim their Timewarped Badges.
