Since 2018, World of Warcraft has been rewarding players with exclusive in-game items for subscribing to longer periods, typically refreshed in January and July. These rewards often align with the lunar Zodiac signs, such as the Auspicious Arborwyrm for 2024, the Year of the Wood Dragon.

For 2025, the new six-month subscription incentives include the Timbered Sky Snake, a flying mount for retail WoW, and the Timbered Air Snakelet, a matching pet for Cataclysm Classic. These items can be obtained by purchasing a six-month subscription or can be bought separately from the in-game store for $25 and $10, respectively. Note that the Timbered Sky Snakelet, the matching pet for modern WoW, is available for purchase in the Battle.net shop for $10 but is not part of the subscription offer.
