Story

Your journey begins in a serene forest near the village of Riders. Alongside your childhood friends, Lilia and Cheval, you stumble upon a radiant egg. In a playful attempt to perform the Rite of Kinship, you're astonished when the ritual succeeds! From the egg emerges a baby Rathalos, known as "the King of the Skies." You name him Ratha and bring him back to your village.

Tragedy strikes days later when a monster infected with "the Black Blight" attacks your village. Though you manage to repel the creature, the damage it inflicts leaves deep scars on Cheval and Lilia. A year later, you receive a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief, marking your official status as a Rider. With Cheval and Lilia pursuing their own paths, you team up with the cheerful Navirou and set out on a new adventure into the world of hunters.
