Our second Sloword application is now available, offering a fresh take on the classic puzzle game. You can access Scanword directly from the first screen by clicking on the image, or navigate to it through the Settings - Other Applications section. Dive into this modern alternative to traditional crosswords and experience a new way to challenge your mind.

Scanwords in Russian represent a unique phenomenon globally, characterized by their rich literary content, humor, and relevance to current events. These elements are seamlessly integrated into what might otherwise seem like ordinary puzzles. The Russian people have a profound appreciation for the power of words, cherishing and valuing them deeply.

Our application offers a diverse range of scanwords, catering to different skill levels. You'll find simpler and more complex puzzles, some enhanced with photographs, and others featuring classic or associative questions such as "one word" or "one word, two words," reminiscent of Elder Fur's tips. Each magazine includes an English-Russian scanword and a "holey" scanword, the name of which you'll soon understand. Each page introduces you to a member of our cheerful family. All scanwords in the app are free for readers. This annual collection comprises 52-53 issues, each containing 20 scanwords. The complete yearly collection will occupy approximately 50 MB on your device, thanks to the compact size of the images and text. We respect your device's storage space.

No internet connection is required to enjoy solving the puzzles, provided the scanwords are already downloaded on your device. A new magazine issue is released every Friday. If you have notifications enabled, you'll receive a reminder every Friday at 12:00 local time. Upon opening the app, the latest issue downloads automatically and won't repeat if the download was successful. Additionally, you can manually download or delete individual magazines, or use the "Settings" option to download all magazines at once.

The core features of the app, including access to all scanwords, are available to readers at no cost. Advertising supports the app, allowing for one narrow banner on each page and one interstitial ad before opening a scanword. Our advertisers do not interrupt your puzzle-solving experience and reward you with free hints for watching their videos.

Readers have the option, but not the obligation, to manage their interaction with advertisements. You can choose to: a) permanently disable ads, b) subscribe to remove ads for the subscription period and gain unlimited hints, or c) collect hints in bulk. These options are clearly presented in the "Shop" section.

Privacy Policy:

1. We exclusively use the standard Android advertising identifier for ad placement and performance analysis. This identifier may be linked to personally identifiable information or persistent device identifiers such as SSAID, MAC address, or IMEI only with your explicit consent.
