How Does emmy Work?

It all starts with the **emmy app**, your key to unlocking a world of convenient urban travel. Use the app to locate nearby mopeds, reserve one in seconds, and unlock it instantly. It's that simple.

We handle everything else—keeping our e-scooters charged and ready when you need them. Each moped comes equipped with two helmets (small and large) and a handy phone holder so you can navigate effortlessly while riding.

Getting Started with emmy

1. Download the emmy app and register with a one-time fee of **4.95€**, including **15 free minutes** of ride time.
2. Verify your EU driver’s license through the app. Once approved, you’re all set to start riding.
3. Open the app and find an electric moped near you. Reserve it for free and head over to pick it up.
4. When you're done, park your moped in a public parking area within our service zone to end the rental.

How to Start Your Emmy Electric Moped

1. Press the red button to open the helmet box and grab one that fits.
2. Stand between the moped and push forward on the handlebars to lift it off the kickstand.
3. Turn the red switch on the right handlebar to “ON”. Make sure the side stand is fully retracted. If you're riding a Yadea model, press the “P-button”.
4. Pull the brake and press the “Down” switch on the left handlebar to start the engine.

Moped Rental Pricing

Start with a one-time registration fee of **4.95€**, which includes **15 free minutes** for your first ride (valid for 3 months). You can reserve a moped at no cost for up to 15 minutes before starting your ride. There's a small unlock fee of **1 EUR**, followed by a rate of **0.33 EUR per minute** once you begin riding. Need a break during your trip? You can pause your ride at a reduced rate.
