Hez2: A Thrilling Moroccan Card Game

Hez2 is a captivating card game popular in Morocco, perfect for family gatherings. This classic Moroccan game supports 1 to 4 players and features turn-based gameplay. A player's turn involves playing a card that matches either the suit or rank of the card previously played. If a player lacks a matching card, they must draw one from the deck. Even with a playable card, a player may choose to draw instead. The goal is simple: be the first to empty your hand.

Special Cards:

• 2: When a 2 is played, the next player must draw two cards. If they also hold a 2, they can choose to draw two cards or play their 2, forcing the subsequent player to draw four, and so on. This continues until a player without a 2 draws the cumulative number of cards.

• 7: Playing a 7 allows the player to change the required suit/color for the next card played.

• 10: Playing a 10 forces the player to take another turn immediately. If the 10 was their last card, they must draw a card.

• 12: In games with three or four players, playing a 12 skips the next player's turn. This rule is inapplicable in two-player games.

The game concludes when a player plays their last card (with slight variations if the last card is a 2 or 10), declaring them the winner.

Hez2 uses a 40-card deck with four suits:

• 10 Copas (Tbaye9)
• 10 Espadas (Syouf)
• 10 Oros (D'hab)
• 10 Bastos (Zrawéte)

Each suit contains cards numbered 1-7 and 10-12.
