Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?

Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a highly anticipated crossover. While the collaboration was well-received, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked debate among fans. Speculation ran rampant, analyzing CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. However, the explanation is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's loremaster, made the final call. He clarified that the bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. Opting for the female V was a logical choice given Johnny's gender, and also reflected Mills' personal preference.
