Koei Tecmo has unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming romance game, *Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation PRISM*, which is an extension of the beloved Team Ninja fighting game series. Scheduled for release on March 27, the game will be available on PS5, PS4, and PC. A special "global version" tailored for the Asian market will also be released, featuring English text to enhance accessibility for international players.
In *Venus Vacation PRISM*, players can dive into a variety of mini-games, switch between different character personas, and soak up the vibrant tropical island atmosphere. The developers have promised a rich narrative experience, offering numerous opportunities to forge deep connections with the game's heroines and fully engage with the romantic storyline.
This new installment is poised to be an exciting experiment for fans of the *Dead or Alive* series, presenting a fresh gaming experience while preserving the distinctive style that the franchise is known for.
However, even the most innovative projects face challenges. Koei Tecmo, the publisher behind the *Dead or Alive* series, annually removes around 200-300 doujinshi and 2,000-3,000 images of the fighting game characters to combat the spread of unauthorized "adult" content. Despite the series being celebrated for its engaging gameplay and charming heroines, who are often depicted in swimwear during battles, the developers are taking a firm stance against the unauthorized use of their characters in fan-created content.
