Prophecy Games’ latest roguelite first-person shooter, Deadzone: Rogue, has made a significant impact since its Early Access launch on Steam. Boasting over 200,000 wishlists, a debut as a Top 10 Global Seller, and attracting more than 100,000 players within the first week, the game has clearly struck a chord with fans.
A quick glance at the trailer reveals why the game is generating so much buzz. It showcases slick visuals and explosive action packed into a thrilling minute of pure chaos.
As you dive into Deadzone: Rogue and embark on your missions, you'll explore a derelict spaceship and unravel a gripping narrative about an AI that has gone awry. You'll face off against hordes of biomechanical enemies determined to obliterate you. Fortunately, you'll have an arsenal of over 30 unique weapons at your disposal, along with a wide range of items, perks, and augments to ensure it's the enemies who end up being pulverized.
The Early Access version of Deadzone: Rogue includes Zones 1 and 2, offering a variety of missions that provide hours of content and access to different sectors of the spaceship. The missions are challenging, but in true roguelite fashion, death is part of the learning process. Each time you fail, you'll return stronger, equipped with new and improved loadouts to tackle the diverse enemy types and bosses across multiple runs, either solo or in co-op mode with teams of up to three players.
The full 1.0 release of Deadzone: Rogue for PC will introduce Zone 3, featuring new enemies, weapons, and gameplay features, enhancing the experience after the Early Access period concludes.
