With the UK experiencing a rollercoaster of temperatures and Spring seemingly hesitant to arrive in many places, Genshin Impact's upcoming 5.5 update might just be the warmth you're looking for. Set to launch on March 26th, this update, titled "Day of the Flame's Return," promises to bring a fiery new dimension to the game.
The highlight of the update is the introduction of the Great Volcano of Tollan in Natlan, featuring the long-awaited Sacred City of Tollan. This ancient Dragonborn-built structure beckons players to delve into its depths to uncover the secrets of the Flamelord's Blessing. But it's not all about the heat; the update also introduces the final tribe of Natlan, the Tribe of Plenty, alongside the mighty Tatankasaurus, a new Saurian capable of shattering massive rocks.
While the volcano area may pose significant challenges, you won't have to face them alone. The 5.5 update introduces two new characters to aid your journey. Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user, brings immense Electro damage to the table, while Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, can boost attack damage while simultaneously healing her allies.
Alongside these exciting additions, the update also includes a new seasonal event, the Tournament of Glory in Bloom, along with Event Wishes and more, all set to debut on March 26th.
